…Yeah… No title… Anyway… Was just checking my email… An account I rarely use… A family member forwarded a video done to Diamond Rio’s new song "In God We Still Trust" and I have to say… I congratulate them for recording it. For even writing it.

The way I see it, our country has completely gone to pot in regards to "political correctness" and it stinks. It’s a load of crap. Our country exists because people wanted fairness and not be judged or persecuted or have freedoms stripped away. Freedom of religion, people. The whole stupid thing with the pledge, the case over the ten commandments.. It’s pathetic. When are these people going to grow up? I mean no offense to those who are friends, but it’s the atheists who are ruining it… At least partially. Yes, the other half is the group of extremist religious babbles. But, they’d be less-voiced if there wasn’t a problem in the first place.

Look at movies today compared to even 10 years ago… Violence has sky-rocketed, pornography has soared to intolerable levels, language is crude (to put it mildly). Ten years ago, you wouldn’t find a single swear word in anything rated "PG" and quite frankly it’s sickening that our society is going this direction. The fact that things like message boards and the like even have a feature called a "word censor" says a lot about our society right there. These people that can’t say four words without cussing or swearing are rude, crude, and should not be allowed in public. That’s my own opinion, of course… There’s nothing I can do directly… Except speak out against it.

One example I would like to use, however… 7th Heaven. That show on WB about the Camdens? Why has it gotten set for an 11th season? JAG went for 10, Walker went for 10, Touched by an Angel went for 10 people! How long’s Desperate Housewives or Tuesday Night Book Club or Big Brother or any of those going to go? Granted one of those is starting a 7th… But this is "All Stars" Doesn’t that mean it’s the last? Same with Survivor… Wasn’t it an "All Stars" as well? Hasn’t it gotten old yet? Has anyone gotten tired of putting others down by voting against people? What’s the point in it?It’s stupid, it’s idiotic, and it should end. Right now.

I’m reminded of that old saying… "The way for evil to win is for good men to stand by and do nothing." I could cite an example on SaveDisneyShows as well as a perfect example for this… The standards there were slowly but surely going down the tubes. One admin (out of 4) speak against it, and they’re brushed aside and taken for granted. So they leave. Abruptly. Suddenly everyone’s listening. And the standards are changing for the better. Quite frankly, I don’t care if I offend somebody… Because I’m offended by those who stand idly and do absolutely nothing. It’s sickening, really…

Guess I should end the rant there… It’s already my longest post on here… Think about it.
