….I know I should be coding something… I need to do some stuff on Kim Possible Fan World… But it’s just coming… Programmers are kinda like artists or writers… Not in the mood, it’s not going to happen… And two days ago or so, I spent almost 8 hours total upgrading SDS Forum to the version 2.0.20 and setting up a new style…

Had to fix the Quote BBCode, and I’m surprised that as little as it took to fix it it was actually released with this bug… I upgraded using the full package, too… Not the changed code or the changed files… the full package had this bug… Well it’s fixed and I won’t upgrade it for another year (or more) so it’s all good…

What I really need to do is work on the KPFW message board, so we can at least get some members and some feedback… The hardest part is going to be figuring out the design style… And how to incorporate it with the rest of the site… I’ll only be able to work on it for about 3 or 4 months, probably… We need to get it going, and it’s frustrating because no one wants to work on it… Everyone wants to see it happen, but no one wants to work on it… It’s as though I’m doing it alone… And a site of that magnitude cannot be done by one person… not in the time allotted… And not and have it really well done… That’s my project for the weekend… KPFW’s message board… Then we’ll see how many really come and how popular it will be…

The biggest problem, probably, will be the fact that everyone is stuck in their routine and it’ll be a monster to get them into a new one… Fanfiction writers are stuck on FanFiction.net, there’re no screencap galleries to speak of, and fanartists mainly use DeviantArt… And who can blame them? Those sites are well-known, and they’ve been in use forever… I’ve heard many KP fans express the desire to move away from FanFiction.net… Something about rules being enforced that sound ridiculous… I’d love to give them one… KP is a big enough comodity right now that we could do it and it’d be a very successful site. Biggest problem will be funding and programming…

I think a hosting plan has been decided on, finally… It’s the only one that seems to have reliable servers that don’t have the sucky max_questions resource limit… And the best bandwidth I’ve seen for the price… I mean 400 GB for $7/month?? and 15 GB of storage… There ya go… Best hosting plan on the net… We’ll definitely opt for PHP 5… That’s one I actually know… Too many differences with PHP 4…

Someone posted on MKP today (link) that Kim Possible Season 4 was a hoax. Whoever posted it originally is (frankly) an idiot and an imbecile (granted, it’s redundant, but you get the idea). There is absolutely NO WAY this is true. How you ask? Let me explain:

First, there was an official press release. Disney could have changed their minds, but that doesn’t mean Disney lied.. It simply means they scrubbed production.

Second, myself and a couple of other people involved with the "Save Kim Possible" movement have had (at least semi-) regular contact with the creators/executive producers of KP. We get updates on production progress. And they’re far from scrubbing S4.

Third, on April 8, 2006 Steve Loter, director/producer of Kim Possible Season 4 did a chat with us on SDS…

[18:10] ahwm: CadetBowlingPin: how long is kp contracted for again? just 22 eps? is there a possibility of a 5th season? (i’d be grateful with 22 eps, but it might be nice to know that wouldn’t be all the new i was seeing)

Anyway, some new information has cropped up… Not terribly unusual with a new season being produced. Anyway, if it’s accurate, it could mean big things. Mainly that it’s going to be the most excellent season ever…

The information is posted up on SDS here. A friend emailed it as a link to one of the producers, and with any luck, he might post about the validity. It’d be the first post by one of them on SDS… Which would be really nice.

Even though having Robin Williams as a clown could be quite hilarious… It probably won’t happen… Seems some people have heard all these before.. I can’t say that I’m surprised… But I only remember hearing one of the ones that were listed… so who knows…

Still haven’t heard back from KP crew about their blog things… And KPFW is progressing… slowly…

I’m not going to bore you all with the details. But when someone is as spoiled as…that… It just isn’t good. For anyone.

They become irritable, self-centered, and most of all, arrogant. Well okay those last two are probably the same thing. But it really annoys me. For years they get exactly what they want when they want it. Then they meet other people, and suddenly they can’t have everything they want anymore. They become, more or less, social outcasts and rejects.

I won’t go ahead and mention any names or anything. It wouldn’t do good to the user (go figure, huh? ), but those who know what I’m talking about will know exactly who, what, when, and where… Maybe even how. But they get so full of themselves, they simply cannot live in the world with other people. Unless, of course, maybe they have a small group I like to call “the chosen” with whom they can chat/discuss and it won’t matter what “the chosen” say… it won’t hurt the other at all. Period. Not even a bump in the road. Get someone with authority making a joke (and using an emoticon to show it) and they lash out with a 3-page speech.

It just…gets on your nerves a bit… They really shouldn’t be given anything.

Decided I should give the blog thing a try since we were asking other people to do the same…

A friend and I have wanted to set up a huge fan site. And I think we might finally be able to. We’re doing a fansite for the Disney Channel series Kim Possible and it’s going to be (for lack of a better word) glorious when it’s done. Fanart/screencap gallery, fanfiction (still working out details on this), episode guides, trivia, news, the works! We’re getting a few people to help on it now. But still not very many. At this point, we only have two prorammers… Wayne and myself. Darth_Comrade said he’d be happy to.. Still no word back from him, though.

Yeah, blogs could be fun.. You get to ramble all you want…

RonStoppable.net message board had a new contest going. It ends May 31st. The idea was to create a new video that could be looked at as a new opening credits sequence for Kim Possible Season 4. This is my entry. Of the few people I know have seen it, all have really enjoyed it. A friend asked me yesterday if I had thought about doing audio/video editing as a career. I’m certainly open to the idea, but I haven’t really given it much thought…

I will, at some point, as I figure out all the CSS entries, mold the design more to my liking. And I probably should’ve created my own blog software as I will have to later, anyway… But let’s face it, point-and-click is much easier than spending hours upon hours writing my own…
